The Healer The Power & The Profit is a story about the business of Evangelism, power and insecurity. A young man posseses a rare gift, he has the ability to heal with his hands. He is without 'ego'  seeking neither riches nor fame but is thrust into the world of entrepeneurs and exploited. He has not the confidence nor drive to deliver the desired  outcomes, and this leads to tragedy. Meanwhile, a man with nothing but a longing for wealth and a talent for deception builds an empire but his lust for power will be his undoing! If Elvis was an Evangelist he would attract a congregation that would follow him into the celestial sun... When parallel universes collide and all colours bleed into one, then the 'true' Healer will shine.

YESHUA!
1 part / 6 pages
,
updated Jan 22, 2014

What if we could discover the Jewish Jesus (Yeshua)? Take a close look at the boy who played in the streets of Nazareth; the reluctant darling of the rebels against Rome, daring to wonder if he were the Messiah – the charismatic preacher on the cobblestones of Jerusalem, who won the heart of a whore and the adulation of a nation and who, after his death, became a Christian God.   “Yeshua!” is an historical novel of about 105,000 words set during the time of the traditional birth and death of Jesus, but with one difference: Yeshua is returned to his Jewish roots, both physically and emotionally. It is a story of action, blood, some sex and tears, when Rome was the occupying power and the moment in history that became a watershed for the Jewish nation. The novel offers provocative insights into the character of this popular preacher. We learn how Yeshua comes to believe he is the Messiah but eschews militancy for pacifism. However, Messiahship meant the overthrow of Roman rule and therefore treasonable so Pilate condemns him to death by crucifixion (as with all other rebels against Rome).
