An Expats Experience's of Living in Turkey
2 parts / 2 pages
,
updated Apr 06, 2015

My book ‘An Expat’s Experiences of Living in Turkey’ is based on the many and varied experiences that have occurred during the past 25 years spent living in Turkey. It starts with how as an Englishman I came to arrive here in 1989 and why within a very short space of time my late wife and I decided to buy a plot of land and have a house built in a quite village down on the Mediterranean Coast. What followed from our decision to uproot and move to Turkey is a mixture of joy, happiness, distress, frustration, grief and finishing with extreme happiness, with my now living in a completely new environment and enjoying a second life here in Turkey. Scattered throughout the book are various tips and suggestions on a variety of things that can help those thinking of either just buying a holiday home here, of moving to live here permanently.

Auto biography of the enchanted- Chapter 1: prologue
1 part / 62 pages
,
updated Mar 21, 2019

Hi, my name is Casandra Reyes born in queens, New York November 10,1993. When I was 5 years old I loved nature my heart was filled with nature couldn't stay home all day kinda. I was very imaginative and spiritual love animals and anything that's alive. My mother used to call me a tree hugger or any Pokémon. I used to play in the sand or play in the water or be surrounded by kids with skateboards I maybe young but that's what I am into. Stunts, sports, music, herbs, crystals, and spirits that's my life. So at school I was bullied a lot my class mates would call me names, throw small stones at me and start fights with me every day. I had a cat black as night I called her midnight.. She was still a baby then. One day I came home from school I found out my baby is dead that my grandmother suffercated her. Later on that night I couldn't sleep I looked at the moon and the stars for a hour or so then I fall asleep. Two months later my uncle died in a car accident I tried to warn him but he never listened. I went to his funeral a week or two weeks later I just couldn't cry, but it was difficult to see my uncle with no face I couldn't imagine it they had to close the casket so they wouldn't show how he looked. Either way my grandmother told me that he was cremated boy ain't she bold as hell and she raised me by herself. After his death the whole family was still devastated by his death. And we was supposed to go to six flags with my cousin jade I guess that'll never happen. Mom got into a fight and child support. Dad win the case and I was supposed to be taken away for adoption mom and dad wasn't fit as parents at the time I was abused and neglected by both parents.. I became reckless.  Spring turns into summer me and mom went recycling cans and we did crazy things together and I was the mouse. I started to develop post traumatic stress disorder after mom sliced a Chinese lady in front of my face. Mom told me that the lady try to hit me. Mom got into more fights.

Be Thankful For What You Have
1 part / 11 pages
,
updated Feb 17, 2017

The saying in life is really true that a persons life can change overnight! Mine did in 2010 when I woke up with a swollen leg, that afternoon I was in an emergency room in Hackensack NJ. The Ultra sound showed 3 blood clots! The one in my leg was called Deep Vein Thrombosis and the other two were by both lungs called Pulmonary Embolisim. Between 2 hospital stays, 3 leg operations, and a stay in physical rehab I was in a bed for 30 days. I always say Be Thankful For What You Have!

Broken in Bulgaria
1 part / 18 pages
,
updated Jan 09, 2019

My dream life in Bulgaria became a living hell and 18 months later had nearly destroyed my life after being subjected to domestic violence at the hands of a mentally ill Bulgarian national who deliberately targeted me by hacking our internet and eventually destroyed my relationship leaving me alone and isolated.   With the attitudes of the Bulgarian culture towards these things meant I had nowhere to turn to for help. Even the police refused to help me and in the end saw me as a trouble maker when I requested their protection and help for an issue that is a way of life out there

Down by The Riverside

updated Feb 20, 2015

This book has been composed to show others that hardships in life can be learning experiences or that which destroys us. It is a personal choice.  My entrance into life was with a bang, on the back of a flatbed pickup truck in 1960.  A life that was presumed to be only for a few hours, but 50 plus years later I am still here!  As a Pastor, Motivator, Parent, and Spouse - the desire to make certain that people reach their goal no matter what they encounter in life is my passion. My life story compiled with life application instructions can touch any audience. I believe that it will encourage any one regardless of their age, gender, or status in life.  It is based on my personal life and supported with scripture, but I believe that anyone will find comfort in how life trials don’t have to destroy our hopes
