A boy of 17 intrigued by all things subtle and often over-looked, is diagnosed with a multitude of mental illnesses, and therefore prescribed a vast array of medications. Flattened by the weight of his peers judgement, he isolates himself away for years, refraining from all social contact and destroying all that is technological, but for one item, his laptop. With this lone piece of hardware he begins to write out his daily thought process, delving deep into his mind and its peculiar predicament. This habit however, begins to lead him further away from the social norm; letting the onset of further troubles lead psychologists and his family to the conclusion that his mind has begun to break down. Now left with little options, he begins to dig a little further into his now labelled "insane" mind, and unravels a philosophical outlook that warps the boundaries of 21st century living, and therefore sends him on a journey for not only his sanity, but for his life.

A young artist meets an old man at a community pool who both inspires and terrifies.  The odd relationship is severed after the old man relates what the author describes as a simple and devastating story.  The story is told in and out of a first person reminiscence and real time contemplative style that treats on topics ranging from depression to ecological concerns.  Not a work for those with ADHD, but a work unique and thought provoking, full of ideas grounded in both spirit and matter.  Your notions on moral responsibility will be challenged.

This an parable about belief structures like religion and ideologies, in the form of a narrative. The thing that fascinates me about people is that they seem to be entirely driven by fear, and this turns into anger, violence and rage. I am looking for an way to explore what someone believes, without causing them to fear me. This work is covered by creative commons. That means you are free to use this work to build upon or share it, I only ask that you mention my name in works using this material.

Unbiased: The mind and perspective of God
1 part / 7 pages
,
updated Mar 24, 2016

Speaks of the bias and unbiased minds as the minds both of the devil and of GOD.  Bias being of the enemy of souls, and UNBIASED being of the ALMIGHTY YAHWEH.  As one begins to read they will take a journey into the deep recesses of the UNBIASED mind, and will also see the detriment of evil which is bias.  UNBIASED minds are rare, but this piece of work explores the highest truths and the lowest level of bias.  No one will who loves truth will find any problem with this work, but will GLORY in the fact that the LORD is there for us all.  Those who learn the secrets of this book will find TRUTH and LOVE and LIFE in the highest, as they see and appreciate the ONENESS of the universe being infinitely more subduing than the works of bias.
