#21 in Memoir
1 part / 4 pages, updated Jun 05, 2017

When I was in first grade my parents were told that I had dyslexia, for years I was tormented by my peers because my class room was also the mentally handicapped kids room.  By the time I was in my sophmore year of school I was put in regular classes without any idea of how to study much less read.  I dropped out of school when I was 16 and made a series of bad choices after that.  Fortunately, I met a man who believed in me and told me for years I was creative and special, in a good way.   Once we were married he began teaching me how to believe in myself and finally made me realize that I acutally enjoyed writing.  I have concured many things such as being a functional illiterate until I was in my mid-twenties, I have homeschooled and learned alongside our 5 boys and have recently written many articles for my blog.  I am currently writing 2 books simultaneously and plan to publish both of them by the end of 2017.  I am currently re entering the workforce selling solar power systems while I push my way to the top as an accomplished author and writer!  I love my husband, hiking, traveling and family time!
